Antique Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold ‘Cigar’ Band ‘MIZPAH’ Ring Circa 1910 With a makers mark -Mizpah is a Hebrew word meaning watchtower which is interpreted as May God watch over you. During the Victorian to early Edwardian era rings, brooches etc were inscribed with the word and grew in popularity. Given to a loved one during a long separation such as travel abroad or military service. This stunning example is almost definitely Australian given the 9ct stamp style, in fact she is stamped twice, and is quite exceptional given her cigar band
